I've never tried making Gingerbread houses. I think the boys would love it though! They will be here starting Monday night through January 2 (Winter Break from school). I need a recipe or something! Looks like you all had fun and the house is yummy lookin! Sending lots of love, hugs, peace and white light to you and your family. Love, Crystal |

Not quite the same, but when my Andrew was in kindergarten the kids each made a small "gingerbread" house using graham crackers. They used some sort of frosting to hold them together. They decorated them with various candies. Small candy canes, gum drops etc. He's almost 23 now so, the memory is faint, but I do remember how much fun the kids had doing this. |

Dear Latrisha, Between playing in the snow and making gingerbread houses...I want to come for a visit ![]() When Garion was 2 Craig left for a 6 month deployment. My great-grandmother (Mom-mom) loves to make gingerbread houses for every holiday, birthday...she will make up an occasion to make one with the great-great-grandkids. Anyways, this is such a wonderful memory I have with him and Mom-mom. Thank you for sharing Latrisha...those houses look yummy enough to eat! HUGS! Dear Lucy, Thanks for the wonderful idea! I just may do this with the kids this week since Mom-mom lives too far away for us to make a big one...simple but yet fun ![]() Hugs, Lynda |
