Post subject:  A gentle New Year for my friends
Dear Friends,
I am sorry I haven't been on the forums as much...just uneasy feelings I have been having to deal with. But I did want to come by and wish everyone a gentle new year and I hope and pray you are all able to spend some time with your families tonight or tomorrow. My kids have been invited to spend the night at friends homes tonight but I am being selfish and keeping them at home with me...I want to give them their first kiss of 2008 :) I take no amount of time with them for granted...my husband too! I remember the evenings we use to go out on New Years...now we find more fun in challenging each other to family games at home and will probably drink...lots of Hot Cocoa :) The only thing I would change is having Garion here with us, other than that, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Lynda,

I support you in keeping your family home and playing family games. I don't even want to go to the grocery store. Too many weirdos out tonight. I don't think I'd want, even a teenager....NO.......ESPECIALLY a teenager........ out tonight. If I had them I'd probably throw a sleepover (bring your own sleeping bags) and I'd stay up all night with them............. keeping the food coming on and playing games with them whether they wanted me to or not. I'd just welcome the chance tomorrow morning to give them all an unwanted peck on the cheek to welcome in the new year.

We're staying home, watching videos, snacking and enjoying Kevin & maybe Christopher here with us to welcome in 2008.

I also want to you wish you a very gentle and kind Happy New Year too.... I wish you all the best and hope this year will be much better for all of us..... The first person I kisssed was my Brianna... I took a shot of coconunt rum and kissed her treasure chest where she is and brought the new year in with tears.... then I kissed my hubby and hug my friends...
