I wanted to share a paper one of Michaels friends wrote in English class.She emailed this to me last night and all I can do is cry.

this is just a paragraph from one of my papers:

Michael always knew how to make me laugh. if I seemed like I was upset about ANYTHING he would make sure to ask me how I was and if there was anything he could do to help. I miss him like crazy and wish he was still with us today. Michael was an amazing person and had the best personality ever. My friends will be with me forever whether they are sill here or not. they know me and how I function better than I do and I appreciate them greatly for that.

this is a paper I wrote just about him.... its called "if I could only see him again"

My senior year has been very hard on my closest friends and me. we have been toughing it out without our best friend beside us. if I could see anyone again it would be Michael Butler. he passed away my senior year and it hasn't been the same since.

I can still remember the day it all happened. I had seen him in the morning and he wasn't feeling too good. at about three thirty in the afternoon is when the accident happened. I had been at my new job for only a week and I remember looking at my phone. I had about ten missed called from my closest guy friends. my heart began to race as I called one of them back to see what was going on. I remember crying hysterically and leaving my job to go to Warehouse Market where all of my guy friends worked at the time. the rest is just a blur.

if I could see him again I would tell him how much I love him and miss him and his random midnight calls. I wouldn't waste a single minute of time if I could just see him again and be with him just one more time. I wish he was here to so he could enjoy the memories of being a senior.

Michael was one of the best people to be around. he had an amazing smile and awesome spirit that lifted many lives. Michael was the kind of person who could light up a room with just a single smile or smirk. I wish Michael was still here to share our laughs, loves, and memories. if he was still here then my senior year would be a thousand times better.

At graduation I am trying to talk administration into letting Trever and I present Michael's mother with a cap, gown, and diploma. I just wish he was here to walk across that stage with us like a normal high school student should. he was too young to die and it should not have happened the way it did. If he was still here I would not be crying right now and writing this.
