{{{Lucy}}}, I'm keeping you and your family lifted in prayer today on Laura's birthday and always.
Let's remember Laura on her birthday. I know Lucy and the rest of her family will appreciate us remembering her.

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY LAURA!!!!

Thank you Cindy!

I probably won't sleep tonight. How do you celebrate a happy event such as a birthday when you can't see them or even tell them? I never imagined it would be like this.

Awww Drea, you're welcome. I know it's so hard being without the ones we love so much. I believe with my heart that they hear our happy birthday wishes to them even though we can't see them. I believe love can reach the Heavens. I know it's not the same as having them here...{{{Hugs}}} I'm praying for all of your family.
Love and prayers, Cindy

Thank you everyone. Many candles were lit. It was wonderful to read them. I did surprisingly well yesterday. I expected to cry all day, but didn't. My eyes welled with tears a few times and that was all. We had a wonderful day really. We talked about Laura and shared memories. We sent Happy Birthday balloons to her and then went out to dinner in her honor. Not everyone could make it to dinner, but there were 7 of us. All in all it was a really great day and we all felt better to be together honoring the gift of her life. Thanks again. Lucy

It was a very nice evening. It was amazing to watch the balloons soar in the sky until they disappeared into the clouds. Dinner was just as wonderful. I'm glad I was with family.

Lucy and Drea, I'm glad you were able to enjoy yourselves as much as possible while celebrating Laura's birthday. I know from my own experience the days leading up to those special days are usually harder than the actual day. Not sure why unless it's the dread of the unknown and then when it gets here we find out we can get through it because nothing is as hard as losing our loved ones was/is. I'm sure Laura enjoyed all the beautiful balloons sent to her and I know the rest of our loved ones helped her celebrate big in the Heaven's.
Hugs to you both and many prayers, Cindy

Thank you Cindy. It actually was a glorious day. I thank God for every moment that we had with her. She wasn't perfect. But none of us are. She was a loving caring person. And I know now that she was saved and lives in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ.
