| Post subject: | The Promise of Easter |
I just want to wish for all of us Peace and Comfort and Courage that can be found as we focus on the promise that Easter IS. Just think, all of our children in heaven LIVE Easter every single day! Easter can be hard, too. Remembering past Easters that were so joyful with my son stuffing Easter candy into his face! (Yeah, even when he was a teenager!). I find myself stuck in a Good Friday frame of mind, thinking of Mary, holding her dead son after watching him die. Then, I say to myself, "She got to see him in three days! How awesome! How fortunate for her, but also for US! Well, not wanting to sound like a church sermon here! Just wishing for all of us to get through this time of year by focusing on the Promise of Easter. Where would we be without the Lord? I hate the thought. I am so thankful that he died for us but also that he rose again. Because of him we have hope and we need hope to continue on. You have a gentle and blessed Easter Laurie and every one else too. Love and hugs, Cindy |
