i have had so many awful people come up to us and say such dumb things,im so tired,i wish when God took Chris He would of left his covering on us

Oh Carla, I'm sorry. I don't understand why some people can be so mean. I know it's not easy sometimes but try to focus on the many good people that you have been blessed with and in doing so feel the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord's love for you. Sending hugs and prayers, Cindy |

Carla, I'm so sorry, I agree with Cindy,try not to focus on them only on the good you are blessed with. I don't understand why people say such dumb things,I think maybe they just don't understand.Until they walk in your shoes ,how can they.THey don't what you feel or think.This is such a tough journey we where all forced to travel.I wish there was something I could do for you.For now I will keep you in my thoughs and prayers. Carla, Perhaps I am naive, but I don't think people say things to be deliberately mean. But, some people say some pretty stupid things at times. While we want people to understand us and our unique pain, we at the same time, are glad that they have not gone through the horror of losing a child. It puts an additional burden on us to try to find the meaning behind the hurtful words and hear not what they said, but what they really meant to say. They don't understand that you cannot "get over" the loss of a child. You only can hope and pray to learn to cope with it. Feel free to tell us what happened in more detail if you need to. I will keep you in my prayers. |
