Here I am being a Mama again. My 14 year old Sarah is leaving in a few hours to go to South Padre Island with the Girl Scouts and won't be coming home until late Saturday. Then on Monday she will be leaving again to Lufkin for Church camp and will come home on Saturday. Could you please keep her in your prayers for safety and while you're at it pray for her Mama, Daddy and little brother too? That sure is a long time for me to be away from my little girl. And poor little Johnathan is already telling her that she better come back home and nothing better happen to her. He's afraid she will drown or a shark will get her. Poor little guy is only 6 years old and has had to suffer too many losses already. It just breaks my heart to hear him talk like that. I realized years ago when B.J. was sick that I had to put my kids in the Lord's hands and allow them the freedom to be kids and enjoy living. While I do realize that...it's never came easy to do even though I did it. After losing B.J. it's even harder for me but I know I have to let them live and have fun. I appreciate your prayers. Dear Cindy, You can count on it! I will pray that not only will Sarah come home safely but also that the experience will be a blessing for not only her but also for you...that you will have some wonderful alone time with Johnathan and make happy memories with him and that she will have wonderful memories of camp.
