Just wanted you all to know that I fell at home on 8/10. I was just getting ready to leave to take my daughter, Heather, out for brunch on her birthday. Two of the cats ran in front of me and I lost my balance and fell. I ended up breaking my right wrist badly. Well, no brunch. Off to the ER where they tried to put it back in place. They sort of did but was told I would need surgery. I broke off the end of my radius bone. Well, I had the surgery yesterday. Everything went well. I have a plate and screws in there holding it together. Osteoporosis sucks! Anyway, if I don't post much it's because I can only type with my left hand (Of course I'm right handed!). It is quite painful, but narcotics are lovely. Love to all, Lucy |
