I just wanted to let everyone know about the Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting service that is taking place tomorrow Sunday December 14 and ask you to join in with us remembering our children. I also want to add that the support meeting I go to opens ours up to anyone that has lost a loved one...not just a child so please those of you that haven't lost a child...this is for you as well. If you can't be a part of one of the services in person you can still be a part of it by lighting a candle in your home during that time.
I ask too that you keep my family lifted in prayer at this time as we are very active in our service through reading of poems, songs, and prayer. I'm reading a poem again this year and as much as you all know I like to talk...it's a little scary standing before 150 people when you're already emotional.
Thank you so much.
Love and hugs, Cindy

The Compassionate Friends
Worldwide Candle Lighting

Join me on Sunday, December 14, 2008 along with other bereaved families, for The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting.

Visit The Compassionate Friends website to find a formal service near you, or light a candle in your home at 7 PM knowing you will be joined by hundreds of thousands of people who are thinking about the children around the world who are gone, but continue to live on in the hearts that they touched.

A Remembrance Book will also be available on The Compassionate Friends' website on that day to post a message or tribute.
