Country Cemetery
In a quiet country cemetery,
Where the gentle breezes blow,
Lies my son I love so dearly;
He died a few years ago.

His resting place I visit,
Placing flowers there with care,
But no one knows my heartache,
When I turn to leave them there.

Though his smile is gone forever,
And his hands I cannot touch,
Still I have so many memories
Of the son I loved so much.

His memory is my keepsake,
With which I will never part.
God has him in His keeping;
I have him in my heart

I know your heartache . Anyone who hasn't gone through this just doesn't understand . They can't comprehend the pain we are going through . It's been just over 6 months since my daughter died and many act like we should be moving on and doing better . I'd like to smack them in the mouth . Instead I avoid conversing with non family members as much as possible . Work colleagues are unavoidable but I keep it short as I will lose my job if I speak my true feelings.

So at least know you are not alone . We are members of a terrible select group that I would give ANYTHING not to be a part of . But there is nothing I can do to change it . Most days I just want to die but I can't . I still have a wife and youger daughter that need me . LIfe is so unfair to some of us . I hope one day we both find peace and maybe even a little bit of happiness . I feell like that is never going to happen but I'm holding out hope it will .

Take care and please know you are not alone . There are others who are going through exactly what you are . I wish they had a special place we all could live so we would not be subjected to insensitive people who just don't get it . Take care , Steve
