How do you get the pics and stuff on the main page? Do you use html or something? Also on the graphics what do you use to put your angel's name on them and how do you do it? I'm new at that kinda stuff. TIA

I'm sorry, I'm still new at it too. I don't have a clue. Can I ask you a question? How did you get the little ticker/counter onto your page? I've made one and can't figure out how to get it from there to my memory site...either one of them. When I try to copy any of the links it just brings the words and not the ticker.
Hugs, Cindy

Andrea is a whiz at this stuff. She put a ticker on Laura's site. She delights in this kind of thing. Drea how about it????

Sure I'll take a swing.

To add pictures to your web page, you have to save the picture as a URL. You can use photobucket, village photos, or any other site you choose. When you are editing your web page, there is a yellow box that looks like a postcard that should say "Insert/Edit Image" when you highlight it. Click that, then insert the URL from the picture you uploaded where directed. Save, and the picture should appear.

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 to add text to my images. You can do simple text with your Paint program.

As for tickers, I went to www.snugglepie.com and created one there. It's a very cute site for anyone who had, has or wants a baby.

Let me know if this isn't explained clearly (I'm so tired lol) or if you need any help! Good luck!

Cindy,

Unfortunately Last-Memories doesn't have HTML enabled so it makes editing our websites difficult. What I did for the ticker was I took the URL for the image, and just posted that like a normal image.

Let me know if it works for you. :)

Ok now keep in mind that I have no computer know how. Do you just right click and copy the URL or do you highlight it and copy it? I know I sound pretty dumb about this but I am! Until a couple of months ago I had never been on a computer in my life and it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. ~Cindy

Cindy,

No dumb questions here!! When it gives you the codes to use, choose the top one "for your webpage."

It should look like this:

<a href="http://counters.families.com"><img border="0" src="
http://tac.families.com/cb/202700.png"></a>

What you need to do is highlight and copy the part I highlighted in blue above (but your own code of course). That is your image URL. (don't include quotation marks)

In your webpage, click the box that says "Insert/Edit Image" and put in this URL into the top line.

The ticker box should appear! Since the image code comes directly from the snugglepie website it will update the days/months/years automatically.

Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

Thank you! You're just awesome! I've been highlighting the whole thing. I'll give it another try tomorrow. My brain is too frazzled to try tonight. I'll let you know if I get it.
Thank you so much, Cindy
