Hello everyone. As most of you know I fell after Laura's Memorial Open House on 9/22 and broke my knee cap. It was broken in 1/2. They did surgery to wire it together a few weeks ago. Well, I went to the Dr today and my knee cap slipped out of position and I have to go back and get the surgery again. So, tomorrow morning it's back to the hospital at 6:00AM for surgery at 8:00AM. This time I have to stay at the hospital for a day or two. I am so upset. The last time it meant I couldn't go to Florida to visit my sister and this time I have to cancel my trip to Chicago the last week of the month. Not to mention I have to go though all the pain again. I was just starting to feel human again. I can't believe I have to go through all this while I'm still grieving so badly for Laura. Anyway keep praying for me. Seems I can use all the luck and prayers I can get. Andrea will keep you posted on my progress until I can get back on the computer. I love you guys!!! |

Oh Lucy, I hate to hear this! I will most definitely keep you in my prayers. As if the pain isn't enough and now your plans are messed up again. I'm really so sorry. Yes, please have Drea keep us updated. Love and prayers, Cindy |

Oh darn CeCe, I'm so sorry. That's the pits and I was hoping you'd made it past the pain part of it. Tomorrow morning? Darn it. Will Drea let us know when you're out of surgery and it's all ok? I still can't believe they didn't notice when you went in the hospital for the second time. I can't even fathom you going back in for surgery AGAIN!! I'll be thinking of you all day Mama Lucy... please have Bill call me ASAP when surgery is out. We will see you as soon as we get off work. Love you very much. |
