For the little picture by your username (Avatar) you need to take the picture you want to use and make it small enough. I just used Paint to shrink mine. If you need help doing this let me know.
On your Profile, at the bottom there is an area to upload a picture to your Avatar. Click Browse, and search for your picture. Again if you need help just ask!
To change your font color, you can highlight your entire entry, and while it's highlighted pick the color above. It will display codes in brackets before and after all of your text for example: [color=red] YOUR ENTRY HERE [ /color] Everything in between those two sets of brackets will do what the command says. I am awful at explaining things so maybe someone can explain better, or feel free to ask me questions and I'll do my best to explain better!
