I know I have mentioned the support group I go to once a month to some of you before. It has been an absolute life saver for my family and I. The wonderful lady that is over it is my very close friend LaFreda. She lost her only child Scotty, 14 years ago in a train accident on Oct.13,1993. She has made him a new memory site here at last-memories and I wanted to ask you if you would please lite a candle for him. http://scotty-purcell.last-memories.com/ LaFreda is one of the best things that has happened for me since losing my boys. She's the one that has been there for me so many times these last nearly 4 years to encourage me and help me know how to continue living. I'd really appreciate it if you would show her some of the same love we show for each other here. Thank you so much. Love and prayers, Cindy I also wanted to let you all know that we got to see Sinjin again tonight. His family came to Goldthwaite to come to a Youth Rally at our Church. Although he still needs us to keep him in prayer for the battle he fights against cancer...HE LOOKS SO GOOD! He was so full of laughter and talked and talked and talked some more. My heart has been blessed to see him doing so well. It was only a month ago that they almost lost him. I'm still believing that the Lord is going to heal him completely. Oh how my heart is blessed. The Lord really is so good. They came to our house after Church and visited until almost 1:00 am and we enjoyed every minute of it. But we had to finally let them go since they had to drive about an hour home. Love, Cindy |

Carla and Lynda, thank you and anyone else that may have lit a candle for Scotty. I talked to LaFreda a little while ago on the phone and she really is missing her boy. I never got to know Scotty though she did get to know B.J. If he was anything like his Mom he was a wonderful young man. Love, Cindy |
