I DONT FEEL I SAY THE RIGHT THINGS TO EVERYONES PAIN,AT TIMES I CAN ONLY POST A SENTENCE,.AND SOMETIMES I FEEL I CAN ONLY LOOK AT THE POSTS MADE.I THINK I WILL STAY OFF OF FORUMS FOR AWHILE,IM MORE SAD THEN EVER.SO I JUST AT TIMES CANT TAKE THIS PAIN.

You don't ever have to say sorry! You say what is in your heart we all understand if you can't find the words. The pain we feel is to great to go it alone and none of us want you to stay away, but we all understand if you need a break for a while.
I will be sending up extra prayers for you to find the comfort you so desperately need.

Oh Carla, I wish you didn't feel like you don't help. You help more than you realize my friend. To say the "right things" is to speak from your heart and you always do. It doesn't always require saying a lot.
I can understand though if reading everything makes your heart even sadder. Sometimes we do need to take a break from it all because if we're not careful we take on so much more pain and it gets to be too much. Just please don't stay away because you think you're of no use to anyone here.
Know you're loved and I'm praying for you. I'm also fixing to pm you from yours earlier so give me a minute and go read it.

Please do not leave us for good. Like everyone else has said, you have spoken from your heart, and that means so much to each of us. If you need to take a step back for a bit, please let it be just that, and not any longer than that. Please do NOT grieve by yourself! We will always be here for you.

I will echo what Tammy said, it's just having you as a part of our group. If you need to take a break for emotional reasons, we all understand that and we will wait for you to come back.

Please don't leave us, we've come through so much together and we still have a long distance to travel together. We need you and you need us.......... just hang in there with us. If you don't feel like posting, then, as Lynda said....... just read.....but stay close to us please.

We've all come to love you and your precious Chris........ so please, stay with us.

Anything you post is enough, just by saying you're present and you care..... we can not ask for more than that from you.

ladies ,thank you.i was having a self pity party,and only 1 guest showed up me. :oops:

i was so nervous about saturday too.a repoter came by today and made it easier,one on one.He cried through the interview .it was hard but,he wanted to write about Chris and what he wanted to do in life and what he was like.I talked so much it was like it wasnt me,but i am glad they are doing this.they want to see what drunk driving has done to families,after the impact of it.

Oh Carla you weren't having a pity party, you were just hurting. Don't be hard on yourself. I'm glad to hear the reporter came today and made it easier for you. Isn't the Lord good? He knew how much you could handle and He took care of it for you.
I'm touched to know he cried. How could he not Carla when he is listening to a Mom with a broken heart talk about her son that she loves with all she has in her? I believe the Lord helped you say just what you needed to say and it's going to make a difference in peoples lives. I'm sending you hugs and extra prayers because I'm sure by now you're feeling completely drained.

Dear, Dear Carla,

What a brave thing you did. You and Lynda, even though your own hearts are broken have spoken out to try to prevent another heartbreak in another family. I'm honored to know both of you. It's hard, so hard, but you did it.

We're all proud of you. I would have sobbed my way through the entire interview.... and not have been ashamed. Tears are nothing to feel shame about.........they are proof that we feel things deeply and that we care.......... I think we should take pride in being able to shed them. God help people who can't........... they're in more danger than we are. Holding too much pain and grief inside can be disastrous to the human body and spirit.

I'm so glad it's over, please share with us when the article comes out. We salute you, and Lynda for the public stand you've taken to try to help others.
