My friend Kathy called me from the college yesterday and told me to turn on the radio on KLOG........ so I did and this is what they were saying: I went to their web site and they had it in print also.

I called the hospital but they would give out no info because I'm just a friend, not immediate family. So I called Kathy back at the college to see if she had heard anymore but she hadn't.

This is so weird and almost spooky. But if Sherry survives, she will find great humor in this. Kathy did say she's not expected to live, but then she wasn't when she had her accident either and she's lived for another 26 years.......so far.

see below:

Fittro Update--
Longview: We have to make a correction to a story that aired yesterday morning; due to a premature announcement that came out of LCC, we announced that Sherri Fittro of Longview had passed away. We have since learned that that announcement was in error. Fittro is still alive, but she remains in serious condition at Saint John Medical Center after having suffered a serious seizure on Sunday. Her condition is being monitored, and we'll provide updates as they become available. We regret the error, and we apologize for any confusion or grief that was caused by the erroneous announcement.

Jane, as odd as this is I don't find it so odd. Let me tell you why.
When my oldest sister Dorothy (we call her Lady) was 4 years old she was ran over by a car. It drug her about 75ft. and I won't go into any further detail as you can only imagine. Anyway 4 different doctors pronounced her dead at the hospital and called the morgue to come and get her. While they waited 20 minutes later they realize that Lady is not dead after all. I think she really was and the Lord just raised her back up. She is still very much alive 58 years later. :) Maybe the people wasn't mistaken on your friend after all and if it wasn't her time then it wasn't her time.
Maybe the Lord still has great things to use her for. I don't think any of it was a mistake but then I tend to believe some pretty wild things sometime.
We'll keep on praying for her.
Love, Cindy

Cindy and Tammy,

Somehow, knowing in my heart that my son's time on earth was already set by God and that God called him home...........comforts my heart.

I need to know that his mission here, as far as his agreement to God, was accomplished. I wonder about leaving behind three children, a wife, grieving parents, sister & brother. But maybe that's part of our lesson in this life. I don't know........but I do believe that God has sent each of us here for a specific time and when that time is up, he calls for us to come on home now.

That helps me.......... the pain will never go away, but it takes away some of those "What ifs" and the "Whys"............. it helps me to know that it was all part of God's plan for my son.

I just wonder what he has in mind for me now that he's called my son home?

jane
