Dear Jane,
I am so sorry to read this. I know you said that it was going to happen, but it is just so sad when it actually does. I think we all have so much hope for a miracle or something to change for the better. Do you think you will be going to the funeral? I will be keeping you and Sherri's family in my prayers. (((HUGS)))
Hugs,
Lynda

Lynda, I would go, except this is the weekend that I go to Lincoln City with a group of the women I worked with. Most of us are retired now and once a year we rent a house and spend Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights there. It's been a tradition for many years now and I always look forward to it so much, but now that it has arrived, I've started getting so anxious about it.

We won't be back in town until Sunday afternoon. I think several of us would like to be back in time to go to the funeral but we're riding with someone else, so we'll have to talk about it. Otherwise, I'd be there for sure.

But, Lynda........ I do have such a problem anymore with funerals. Even the ones that I feel are necessary to attend.......... it's very, very hard to go. The entire process leaves me down for days......... and brings back all the things I'm trying to forget. I want to remember my son alive and here, not that horrible day that we buried him. It was a nightmare and, without medication, I'd have gone stark raving mad. I still can't look back on it without a total meltdown.

So, to answer your question.......... I don't know.

Love you,
jane
