Sinjin's going home today! updated today 11/12

Sarah just got off the phone with Sinjin and Lorna asked her to tell me to let everyone know that Sinjin is getting to go home!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say.......all are happy campers right now! She had said they really wanted him to get to go home because he does so much better there than in the hospital. The Lord is good and answered the prayers.
Keep him in your prayers and Lorna said she would give an update later tonight.

Were home!!!!! Were home!!! Were home!!!! It is so very true there is no place like HOME!!!!!! I will give you details tomorrow. I fought hard to get him outta there and here we are!!!!!. Sinjin is soooooo happy to be home he is beaming. He said mama it is so good to be home and i can sleep in my own bed tonight. All is well in our world tonight. Goodnight all.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2007 10:53 AM

Sinjin did not fall asleep till after 1am last night but then he slept through the entire night. He woke up his 1st morning at home and asked me to cook him eggs and toast He had chips and dip for lunch ( his choice) and then for dinner he had grilled chicken. He had a pretty good day he John and I just hung out and relaxed. I of course relaxed between loads of laundry and unpacking from the hospital stay...lol So our 1st day home was a good day and pretty darn close to what I gladly call normal. I want to share a few things with you about some wonderful people. I would like to thank our friends Misty and her husband Mike for putting together a Benefit for Sinjin on Saturday. They and some other good people (who's names as soon as I know them I will share here) cooked all kinds of food and the owners of a club called the Loop in Killeen not only allowed them to hold it there but also pitched in and helped out. They raised a large amount of money to help us. John and I were deeply moved by the helping hands on that day by not only friends but of total strangers. On our way home from the hospital we masked Sinjin up and stopped in for a bit and met many of those who made the day such a great success. John, Sinjin and I would like to thank them all, from the bottom of our hearts and let them know that they are all a wonderful group of people. Angela and Bob Kott, as you all already know are sweet precious Trevor's parents. They sent a package from California to Misty for Sinjin and Misty who is Trevor's Aunt delivered it to the hospital to us on Saturday. I want to thank Bob and Angela for the generous gifts they sent us. Sinjin really liked the chemistry set and the gift cards you sent what can I say to such a very...very generous gift, your thoughtfulness shows in everything you both do and your kindness and caring mean so very much. Your family has touched our lives and touched our hearts, and we are so honored to have met you both. We know you continue on fighting the fight against cancer in honor of sweet Trevor. A friend once told me to surround myself with people who truly care and we are doing exactly that. God bless you both. If you click on links Tab Trevor's sites are there please go and see what this amazing family has been doing, you can also visit his Caringbridge site just click on this link Sinjin has received so many cards from folks that are praying for him and it is hard to keep up with them all but I would like to mention a few today and thank you for your support and well wishes, Mrs.Barbara and Mrs.Helma of Killen Texas, The Prayer Ministry of St Andrews, Ms Ward of East Texas mom to Angel in heaven Jamie. Sinjin is still sleeping this morning so we will see what today brings for us. I will be going back to work tomorrow and want to thank all those who I work with for all their Kindness and Support during this very difficult time, I know me being gone weeks at a time puts an extra work load on many of you and you have been sooo very supportive. Thank you all so very much. Thank you to my co worker Ms Jean for your phone calls to us while in the hospital. Thankyou to Sarah Beth for calling Sinjin and even when she knew Sinjin could not speak because of the sores in his mouth she stll called and checkd on him and that made him smile. The memory-of moms each bless their hearts have felt the pain of loosing a child and as always they continue to give me strength and lift Sinjin up in prayer, they all have such loving and beautiful spirits. Last but not least thank you to all the other Caringbridge and Care Page family's that visit our site, we keep you all in our prayers. I will close for today and enjoy our time home with our son.
