THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2007 07:33 PM Went to the doctor and we were told Sinjin would be going back into the hospital this Saturday for 5 days of chemo. It is the same chemo that put him in the Picu ( ICU ) the last time so it scares me. I went ahead after his appt and went on in to work. Sinjin's teacher came today and he enjoyed him being here. When I got home John said the hospital called and said Sinjin can't go in on Saturday because his counts are to low so they want us to come in the day after Thanksgiving. I will call them to see if we can give him a little more time and come back in not that Friday but the following Monday. I guess we will see. Thank you to the Lampasas nurses that sent the gift card via Mr.Best so very thoughtful of you.Must go for now Livingstrong Sinjin's mom |

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2007 02:47 PM Got up at 6:30 this morning rushing around to get ready to go to the Celebrate Life 5k run/walk. Please check out the new photos of the day. There were runners and walkers of all ages. Money raised was over $2,000 and it is being given to 3 different organizations and a portion will be given to Stewart and his mom and our family to help with expenses. It is so very wonderful and generous of them to do this for us. Thank you Lampasas Middle School / Badgers and all the runners walkers involved. Our family was honored to be there today and Sinjin so enjoyed the ride in the police car and watching all the runners. I want to tell you all about a 13 year old girl named O'niesha who in the middle of the 1st race had an asthma attack and had to stop running and be brought back to the school (I have of picture of her under the photo section) This young lady rested and when the childrens race started who was right up front....yes it was O'niesha she ran that race and came in 1st place in her age group and was indeed the very 1st to cross the finish line over all. She was amazing. I was upset that battery went dead on my camera so i was not able to get a picture of her strong finish. She showed alot of courage and strenght running that 2nd race it brought me to tears. It was a super day!!!!! I did find out who gave Sinjin the gift card via Mr. Best it was all six of the Lampasas school district nurses. To those nurses we say thank you so much. I will be putting all the pictures from today on Sinjins my space and his Celebration Of Life site. Yay! I got to talk to him today and he was doing fine. He was laughing and playing but most of all, I think he enjoyed putting me on speaker phone while I sang weird and crazy songs to him but, his mom and dad had the privilege to listen to me too.  I didn't know they were listening to me! I finally found out that they were listening to me but, I just continued to be crazy and made them all laugh. Sinjin was doing great today!!!!!!L♥ve and Prayers, Sarah Beth |
