Hello everyone,
I do not know how anyone else feels about this but this is the email I just sent last-memorials.
Love to all,
Jo Ann
Dear Last-Memories,
I just received this email from you. While I realize that this is a voluntary service, and one must sign up to activate it, I have to tell you that I am appalled that this service is even being offered at last-memories. This service is tacky, undignified, opportunist, and the epitome of poor taste. I am stunned that anyone would even consider trying to get donations for the death of their loved one.
Please make sure there is never a mistake and my precious daughter's site (
www.krystal-long-duss.last.memories.com) never has this "service" added. This tacky, appalling, uncouth "service" would tarnish my daughter's precious memory .
Dear Madam/Sir
Website
www.last-memories.com has again prepared for you new service. From now on you can add a Family donation button to your website and so be able to receive a Donation in Memory of a Loved one from the visitors of your website.
If you would like to use this service you need to activate it in the editing section of your website. All donations will be recorded and will be sent to your PayPal account on monthly basis. You will also receive detailed information who did send you donation and how much it was.
This service is again free of charge from
www.last-memories.com (charges from
www.paypal.com may apply). So if you want to use this new service all you need to do is log in to your website, go to editing section and activate this service in OTHER SERVICES tab. In lower part of this tab is option to activate this service.
With regards, team of
