Hi, I'm new. My mom died three weeks ago of Multiple Myeloma (cancer of the bone marrow). We were very close and my life will never be the same. Everyday is a challenge and I miss my mom. I moved to FL from CA last year to care for her and I spent her last days by her side and was there with her when she died. I am haunted, touched, devastated, relieved---I have so many different emotions going through me. I made this for the memorial service. I am sorry to hear about your mom. My brother-in-law died from the same thing on 5/15/2000. Bless you for being there for her. I know how hard that was for you. I watched the video tribute you made for your mom. It is beautiful. God bless you and bring you peace. Hugs, Lucy Carter (Cece) |

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Like you, I lost my mother to cancer recently. She died at age 61, on March 20 (my birthday), after a 6 year battle with Endometrioidal cancer (complicated with Pancreatic cancer at the end). 2 1/2 months before her death, my maternal Grandma (my mom's mother) died suddenly at age 93. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think about her and miss her terribly. I have several writings I've done to include the tribute I read during her funeral. That had to be one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Anyway, my heart goes out to you here as well who are struggling with the loss of someone you loved. I sometimes wonder who I will get through to the next day without her. |

Yes, The loss of a mother is a very special loss. I lost my dad 20 yrs ago, But, lost my mother on 3/6/09. My heart aches for her. I comfort myself with the thought of my daughter and my mother being together. {{{HUGS}}} |
