I woke up this morning, the sixth anniversary of my mother's passing and I wrote this through my tears. I know she is always with me, and every good deed I do is her working through me. Good luck to all who have recently lost a mom, it does get a little easier as time passes. Look for the little signs that she's with you, because the love that you shared never dies.
Six years Today
I don't need to put a Memorial in the newspaper, I light a candle and remember my mama. Her kindness, her love, and caring, Her thick, beautiful hair. My son has that hair. "You have Grandma's hair - a crop of hair", I say to him when he lets me give him a trim. Her strong, capable hands, I have those, sometimes. Her changeable blue-green eyes. My daughter has those eyes. I don't need to put a Memorial in the newspaper. I remember her every day.
Love you mom! From Becky
