I lost my oldest child in a 2 vehicle crash on 7/19/07. Her death was so unexpected. She was killed instantly. Her death threw us all into a tailspin. I found a book that has helped us. I thought I would let you know about it.

I Wasn't Ready to Say Goodbye

Dear Lucy,
Thank you for sharing this book on here. I remember you telling me about it on the phone and I obviously forgot to look it up (short term memory loss). I plan to see if our bigger library has it on our next trip, which is Monday. I would love to talk to you more about it after I read it. (((HUGS)))
Hugs,
Lynda

I would also like to suggest a book for families faced with the loss of a child (of any age/circumstance):

The Worst Loss: How Families Heal from the Death of a Child

I too lost my 24 yr.old daughter she died instantly from a heart condition that caused the crash. No one knows the real pain and agony that a mom goes through losing thier child no matter how old/young they are. I lost my daughter Sheena in Dec, 4th 2008. I am so depressed pills aren't helping. I have buried my first husband and both my parents but that does even compare to losing a child. As parents we must hold each other up in prayer and in our thoughts.
