That little guy is so sweet. When you see what he wrote you'll know why I say that. Something else that is so sweet is every time Him and Sarah talk on the phone...after they say good-bye and are about to hang up he always says...I'm sad now and she says me too and then they hang up. They do bring such joy to each others lives.

So Sinjin held down some chicken soup today hooray! If he feels well enough he wants to go see Sarah Beth tomorrow and take her a lil gift. I told him we would see. Bless his heart he is feeling left out of many things. I need to contact the school and see what can be done about his home bound school that has not yet happened I think someone has maybe dropped the ball somewhere down the line. I think what they need to understand is that Snjin feels that the reason no one is teaching him is because it would be a waste of time that he may not be around for long so why bother. I do not want him feeling like that. He is getting worried cause he feels he is falling behind. and needs school work to do and to feel like he is working toward his future. He needs Hope. Did I already tell you all about when he was in ICU and it was like the 2nd day and Shannon and I had walked down to her car in the parking lot and next to the back tire of her car there lay a small cross on the ground, Shannon said look at that! It was not there when I parked the car earlier today. She reached down and picked it up and said to me" Mom this is a sign ..this is a good sign. She handed it to me and I carried it back up to our room and taped it to the bottom of one of my poems that we had hanging on the wall. I agree with Shanon it was a sign... I believe in signs.

Tonight is quite here at home. Sinjin ate about 1 cup of chicken noodle soup for me and 2 crackers around noon today. I am thankful that he at least ate something. He has not eaten much at all for the past 2 weeks. I made him a homemade banana shake tonight and was so proud of it... till he took a sip and made the most awful face!!! He said " mama I am not trying to hurt your feelings or anything but this tastes awful" I took it from him and took a sip...tasted like banana to me so I drank it. I told Sinjin that his taste buds were screwy. He said " no it tasted like banana to me to.. it just tasted bad!" Oh well I tried and tomorrow I will make him a fresh strawberry shake and see if he likes that, if not I guess I'll drink that too. lol John grilled chicken tonight and Sinjin said he did not want anything to eat but John tore off a lil small piece and got him to eat it. Sinjin was in so much pain earlier today that I called his Doctor asking him what I could do to help him. It hurts my heart when he is in pain and there is nothing I can do to make him feel better. He told me he would call in some pain meds and I could pick them up in about an hour. I told him I was concerned about Sinjin starting more chemo tomorrow feeling sick and not eating he said he was concerned to and did not want Sinjin to end up back in ICU. He still wants to see Sinjin tomorrow but I do not think he will start his chemo until Sinjin is better. So we will see how long it will be before his body is healed enough to start again. I do know that it is not good if we wait too long and that worries me. We of course just want whats best for Sinjin. Today he spoke with Sarah Beth on the phone just for a few minutes because he was feeling really sick, he felt bad cause he didn't talk to her longer.Sorry Sarah Beth. So tomorrow I will go to work and John will take him to his appointment. The weekends seem to just fly by. I worry when I am away from him because it seems that things at this point with his health change day to day and we never know what the next day will bring. Gosh how we all miss Normal. I can't remember if I thanked my Aunt Helen and Uncle Bill for the Texas Longhorn shirts they sent to Sinjin if I did well... then let me thank you again Sinjin loves em!!!! It is getting late so I will close for tonight. I pray that Sinjin gets some sleep tonight and then I will also be able to sleep. Goodnight all. Oh yes before I forget happy belated birthday to little CJ who is not so little anymore...7 yrs old oh my goodness the years do go by so very fast.

So Sinjin had his doctors appt today and it was decided he is not yet strong enough to start back on chemo. They had to give him blood today he had no color in his lips or his cheeks when he left this morning but now he has a bit of color to him. The doctor said Sinjin now has gall stones caused by the chemo and they now want to keep a close eye on his gall bladder. My poor boy seems he just can't win for loosing. Now we are supposed to call the doctors everyday to let them know how Sinjin is doing so as soon as they think he is well enough...back in hospital for more chemo. I know Sinjin is bothered that we will continue on like this through December. Last night Sinjin had a rough night and at around 11pm Sinjin asked me if I would please lay with him... I rubbed his back as we lay there talking for about an hour and then I started to doze off and he would say "mama are you still awake" and then start talking to me again. We went to sleep at 4am. I finally had to tell him bud mama has to be to work by 7:30 in the morning so I have to go to sleep. He and I are watching TV now but I am getting real tired so I will close for now.
