OUR PAPER,PENSACOLA NEWSJOURNAL,IS DOING A RIGHT UP ON HOW MANY VICTUMS FROM DUI,THEY CALLED MY HUSBAND AT WORK AND ASKED US TO COME THEY WANT TO INTERVIEW US ,AND HONOR CHRIS AND ALL THE OTHER ,S WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THESE DRIVERS.IM SO NERVOUS,I DONT THINK I CAN HOLD IT TOGETHER,THERE WILL BE NEWS REPORTERS AND IM NOT STRONG.I CRY AT A DROP OF A HAT.I AM ALREADY PANICED,I HAVE PANIC ATTACKS .BUT I NEED TO GO ,I TOLD MY HUSBAND WE ARE CHRIS,S VOICE.JUST AS ALL OF US WHO HAVE LOST A CHILD.WE SPEAK WHEN THEY CANT

That's wonderful that the newspaper wants to honor those who have been affected by DUI. Don't worry, you'll be just fine. God will give you the courage and strength to make it through the interview. You will be in my prayers as always.

Jesus give Carla the strength and courage she needs to do this in honor of Chris.
Carla, courage is doing what we're afraid of even when we are afraid. Nothing will ever be as hard as saying good-bye to Chris was. I'm believing with you and for you that the Lord will give you the strength you need to get through this. There will be many people that will be touched by Chris and he's going to be so proud of his Mom and Dad.

Thats great! I know you will find it in yourself to make it through and Chris will be right there beside you every step of the way I'll be sending up extra prayers for and your family.

Go and be yourself. Maybe it might be good for people to see the real damage done ~ to those of us left behind and broken hearted.

Susan has it right, you have a right to your tears, and maybe the world should see the depth of your pain. If it makes just one person stop and think before they get behind the wheel after a few drinks............. even one person.......... you will have contributed so much.

I'm a crier also......... I cry so easily anymore........ reading the story about Tammy's precious Angelica and then Lynda's about her precious Garion......... had me crying all morning. I was planting grapes and talking to my son and asking him to help me understand WHY.......... I keep having such a strong feeling that I might survive this, if I could simply understand it.

You have such a valid and important story to tell............. and the fact that this girl threw her own future away also............. so many people were devastated by her decision, or lack of one, to drive that night.

I love you and I also will say a prayer for God to give you the strength you need to get through this.
