she just emailed me,she was in the mall when the shooting took place where 9 people lost their lives she had her daughter and grand children with her.she was in a store right next to it all :shock:

Oh my goodness, what a horrible thing to have to witness!!!! I'm so glad that they are okay. I pray that God gives peace to all of the families involved. It's scary to think that you have to be scared to even go shopping anymore.

Oh my goodness Carla...I read about the story online. Are they ok physically? I know emotionally they have got to be shaken up. This is just so sad! The fellow left a note to the affect of maybe he will now be famous...and my heart sunk. His own selfishness has caused many families to endure the life long pain we are all living. So so so sad!!!! But I am relieved your friend emailed you. I will keep her and the children in my prayers, I am sure they have a lot of things to work through after such a scary event.

Oh Carla, I hadn't heard anything. I'm so sorry but so thankful your friend and her family didn't get hurt. Please let her know we're praying for them. God be with those families that have now been forced to join us. :cry:

I have been keeping up on the Omaha mall shooting since it happened. It scares me so much and really hits "home" with me. I was in Omaha for a month before and after having Naudya Jo, my mom and I went to that mall with Karson before Nauyda Jo was born, Clint, my dad, my mom, Karson and I went to it after Naudya Jo was born. Gosh I am at a loss for words, if Naudya Jo was still fighting and I was in Omaha, would we have been there? Those "IF" questions!!

My heart goes out to those who have lost a family member during this horrible tragedy.
