Latrisha,

such sweet, sweet memories. When we lived in Utah we got snow like that every year, several times a year, and in Pennsylvania almost every year, but here we don't get much anymore. I miss it....... We'll get a few flakes, sometimes an inch or two, but it doesn't last long.

My son lives about 150 miles north of us in Maple Valley, Washington. He gets a lot of snow there. When my kids were little we lived in Everett, Washington which is even a little further north of Maple Valley, and we lived up on a hill. Every year we got snow, and sometimes a lot of it. The kids loved it.I'd make them bundle up and they'd stay out for hours playing with friends. I'd dress them up warm and at night we'd go for a walk.......... it was so pretty and so quiet.

Those memories are so wonderful. I sometimes wonder if the kids remember them.

Thank you so much for sharing, those pictures of your kids warmed my heart.

Love you,
jane

Yes, Thank you Latricia. We very seldom get snow in Portland. The pictures bring back cherished memories of my kids playing in the snow when the older ones were growing up in northern Illinois.
