I'm sending prayers for her Lucy. Please let us know how she's doing.

Your' right, this isn't the best way to start the new year.

Love,
jane

Ruby (my 81 yr old MIL) has been moved to the rehab unit at Good Sam Hosp here in Portland. She is having intense PT, OT and speech therapy. We have hopes that she will be able to return home in a few weeks. Bill is up there all day everyday. I go when I can. He will stay with her a while after she gets home to be sure she can manage on her own. Now, I've found out that my mom has a suspicious shadow on an x-ray and will need a CT scan to find out what it is. She is 87 and I worry about her health. If she has something bad, I guess I will be off to Illinois to get her through it. Please continue to pray for all of us. And thank you friends for being here for me.

Cece, I always hear the Lord will not give us more than we can bear, but sometimes I think he over estimated my strength when he called my son home. I haven't done well with bearing that loss.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother and your mother-in-law. It just keeps coming doesn't it?

I'll certainly pray for both of them, and for you Cece. You've had a lot to deal with in the past year.......... not even quite a year yet.

I'm so sorry, I've had years like that also, I lost two brothers six weeks apart. That was a tough year. Then, about five years later I lost a sister and a brother and a sister-in-law and a niece in one year. That was a very hard year......... but all them altogether, and losing my son was the toughest loss of all.

Prayers for you Cece,
love
jane
